Club Festival Live at the QHT
The Bull supports talented local musicians to showcase their original music. The Music Club will play host to acts such as Will Varley , Sarah Sheldrake, Logan Wilson, Cocos Lovers and Cranbrook School's own Mocassins.
Back for a second time at the QHT (this time outside on the Gym Lawn), the show from the Bull is dedicated to the memory of Mike Wilkinson, Head of Performing Arts at Cranbrook School who died in March, who was a great supporter of young talent at the Bull. Let Luke lead you through Blighty’s run-down shopping precincts, provincial high streets and airless television studios to introduce a cast of tone-deaf pop wannabes, terrorised single mums and baby-boomers with “afflu-AIDS.” Between each poem Luke offers a pithy crash course in the history of balladry, from broadsides to Christina Aguilera. Much Ado about Nothing
A sizzling outdoor production of this classic Comedy set at the end of World War II. Directed by director in Residence Cieranne Kennedy-Bell and performed on the Gym Lawn. Audience members are invited to dress in the period, and there will be stalls selling vintage items, a produce stall and a bar selling local ales and ciders and wine. Bring a picnic and make this a great family evening out on the longest day of the year.
