One of the most highly regarded and respected flamenco guitarists alive today and hailed as one of the top three guitarists in the world, the New Vic is delighted to bring Juan Martín and his stunning show to North Staffordshire. Fondly described as “Doctor Flamenco” by The Times, Juan is one of the most brilliant performers in the world, fusing flamenco and gypsy jazz with Arabic, Indian and classical influences to create a truly captivating musical experience that is not to be missed.

Out of the Blue

Out of the Blue are an all male a cappella choir made up of Oxford University and Brookes students, and about a million times more fun than that sounds. Now in their tenth year as a choir (with new members joining to replace old ones as they leave) the group appear to have a massive fan base, and were finalists in "Britain's Got Talent" in 2010.
They will be joined by another acapella group, "The Elizabeth Consort" from Cranbrook, who they will have workshopped with, to perform their own work and a piece together with "Out of the Blue". Frisky and Mannish

Musical comedy cabaret double act, comprising Felicity Fitz-Frisky (Laura Corcoran) and Hansel Amadeus Mannish (Matthew Floyd Jones). They peddle a crowd-pleasing brand of 'popmusicy-seriocomic-mashparodic-stereophonic-LOUD-vaudevillian-sketchcabaret-throwbackcurrent-oldfangled-newfashioned-bapsbotty-infotainment.' More five-star reviews and packed houses at the Edinburgh Fringe 2010, leading to further international touring and a live performance on BBC Radio 1 with Scott Mills.
