 The venue is supplied with a 415V 3 phase input. From this incomer, the venue runs two, 24 channel Chilli Pro dimmers. These are located in theatres power intake room.
The Chilli Pro’s are hard wired to paired socapex outputs in the catwalk. This hard patch installation runs 4 powered IWB’S (Internally Wired Bars) above stage. These IWB’S are 10 metres in length and have 12 sockets evenly spaced along the bar. The onstage rig is suspended from steel girders and is considered to be the strongest part of the venue for rigging equipment.
The FOH lighting system is separately powered from a single 125A breaker. This is terminated into 5 Betapack-2 dimmers in the operation box. There are a total of 30 soft patch channels each rated at 10A. Located below the dimmers is a 70 channel soft patch which distributes power to the FOH rig and various patch boxes around the venue.
The control for this system is located in the operation box in the gallery but can be repositioned on the lower levels if required. The venue is wired in 15 amp sockets which terminate into a soft patch located in the operation box.
Naked flames, pyrotechnics or any like activity’s ARE RESTRICTED in this venue but they may be allowed to occur with prior consent. Risk assessment must include compliance with all laws and local regulations. All actions must be risk assessed any pyrotechnic device is stored in a secure metal box away from electrical equipment. A qualified technician must take responsibility for the theatrical device and must be NAMED on the risk assessment accompanying the production.
