Today the Queen’s Hall Theatre is a superb facility, seating a maximum of just over 300, which many professional theatre companies would be thrilled to call home. Two disabled seats are available, each of which deducts three regular seats from the total. We are restricted on the location of the disabled seating due to the number of steps leading into the auditorium, therefore the seating is located on the back row of the downstairs auditorium.

The performance space is very flexible with adaptable seating allowing performances in the round, as well as on stage within the traditional proscenium arch. The building is well equipped with state of the art technical equipment, and includes PowerPoint facilities, large retractable screen, comprehensive lighting rig, sound system and a digital film projector.

From the apex to stage level the venue stands at 20 meters. This enables wide coverage of the performance space. There are two good sized dressing rooms and a drama room which doubles as an extra large dressing/band room when required.
